Your BFF

Hello! Ako si SheBlogger ng HeBlogs-SheBlogs.com, or HBSB for short.

Pero sa blog na ito, pwede nyo akong tawaging BFF, or Bb. Filipina Friend. Ako ay isang 30-something na girl-woman na hindi pa rin nakakalimutan ang pagiging…(ahem) young. Isa akong freelance writer/dreamer na nangangarap na makapag-publish ng libro balang araw...somehow… gagawa ako ng paraan to make it happen.

But for now, in-enjoy muna ang buhay and everything it has to offer; and of course, enjoy my blogging…sharing things and experiences sa aking mga imaginary readers dito sa cyberspace ;)

So, bakit gumawa na naman ako ng panibagong blog? Problemado na nga ako in finding time to write para sa iba kong blogs, di ba? Well…that’s true, yes.  But I felt the need for a separate blog na dedicated to beauty and women, especially para sa mga Filipina.  Something about us and the things we tend to neglect sometimes – Health, Beauty, and Personality.

Na-inspire kasi ako ng mga beauty blogs na na-encounter ko sa aking line of work. Most of them are beauty bloggers from different parts of the world at naisip ko, I could do the same—the practical Filipina way.

Hindi naman talaga ako beauty addict, unlike what most beauty bloggers say about themselves. My style has always been wash and wear, and GO! Never akong nabaliw about makeups, skincare at kung anu-anong beauty products. At least not yet…but lately, I find myself craving for these luxuries. Lusting over lipstick, blusher, eye shadow, BB cream and skin moisturizers. Siguro nahawa lang ako ng mga beauty bloggers na nababasa ko at ngayon, I’m slowly becoming a beauty addict myself. Sobrang nakaka-engganyo kasi ang makukulay na kolorete sa mukha, sa kuko at mga masasarap na pampalambot at pampakinis ng balat. Or maybe…because hindi na ako bumabata and age is starting to catch up with me so nakakaramdam na ako ng need to take extra care. Well, whatever it is, my blog is here and I’m going to share all my trial and error in staying young, beautiful and confident sa inyo, aking mga kabarong Filipina. I may not be feminine all the time, but I have my moments. And lately, dumadalas ang mga moments na yun, so dito ko ia-unleash lahat ng femininity na meron ako :)

Ito ay blog ng isang Filipina, para sa mga Filipina. Kaya I’m calling it Binibining Filipina.  Pero wag mabahala, calling it as such doesn’t necessarily mean na ito ay para lang sa kadalagahan. I just believe na lahat tayo, single or married, ay dapat tawagin pa rin na Miss, My Lady, or in this case, Binibini. Ang blog ko ay para sa lahat ng girl/woman na interesado sa health, beauty and personality development.

Samahan nyo ako sa aking pakikipagsapalaran or quest for All Things Nice that Beautifies!

And oh, since ito ay blog para sa mga Filipina, ginawa ko itong Bi-lingual – Tagalog – English. Parang usual lang nating pagkukuwentuhan sa araw-araw ;)
