What the heck is Black Friday?

Hindi ko rin alam and I have never heard of it until earlier today when I got an email from Smashbox telling me that they have a Black Friday 25% Discount. My first thought was Holy Week. Then I thought, Good Friday at Black Saturday nga pala yun. So I googled to find out what it is.

Apparently, Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving Day sa U.S.  Oh...okay, so I'm excused. Firstly, I'm not American and secondly, I've never been there. Hehe... So what is its significance and bakit ko pa kailangan i-blog?  Well, it's got something to do with shopping!  And shopping is something nice that beautifies. Don't you agree???

Malapit na malapit na at hindi na mapipigilan pa ang pagdating ng Christmas.  I know most of you are super busy na preparing, shopping for gifts, etc… I just hope na hindi ninyo kakalimutan ang inyong mga sarili.  I know…I understand that we want everything to be in order and has to be beautiful.  And I couldn’t agree more!  Everything has to be beautiful, including YOU!

So I thought I should share this beautiful makeup palette from Avon that I recently bought. Meron siyang 8 eye shadow colors and 2 blushers.  Unfortunately though, I can’t tell you the exact colors or shades kasi hindi siya naka-indicate on the label.  I don't understand why Avon didn’t bother to name them. So best effort na lang sa pagdescribe and you can refer to the photo below.

Hello, BFFs!

I'm just happy and excited to announce that I am now an official Avon Lady. Hehe... Naisip ko lang na since lagi naman ako bumibili ng Avon products from MamiKo (mom ko) eh di mag-member na rin ako. Besides, sa province pa ang membership ni MamiKo at nahihirapan kami maka-order from here. So to cut the story short, I signed up for membership already.

Anime Makeup for Halloween

Alam nyo ba BFFs na ang most favorite kong holiday ay Halloween? I love horror kasi, mapa-movie or books. And I love, love dressing up in costumes. Every Halloween, my sister and I would dress up as zombies kahit walang costume party na pupuntahan. Actually, kahit hindi Halloween, basta pag napag-trip-an namin, we do it.

This year, I have no Halloween Party to go to...huhuhu.... and my sister is not with me to play dress up with...the more huhuhu... But that didn't stop me. Nag-trip pa rin ako kahit mag-isa, but this year I didn't go for very scary look (Although dream ko talaga to dress as the deranged Alice in American McGee version of Alice in Wonderland videogame). But I digress...

Palagay ko lang naman...

A woman went to our house asking for Avon products kasi we have an Avon Dealer banner sa bakod. Nag-order ng Avon from brochure aside from the products that we have on stock. Gusto niya sana magbayad ng US$100 pero sabi ko, wala kaming panukli. Besides, hindi ko siya susuklian ng halagang 3K sa dollar na hindi ako sigurado na totoo at hindi fake. At hindi ko rin binigay ung products.

Avon BB Cream Review

In my Beauty Booty post at HeBlogs-SheBlogs, I mentioned buying Avon BB Cream.  And since then, I’ve been getting views for that post via keywords search na “Avon BB Cream Review”.  So, I thought dito ko na lang gawan ng review sa Binibining Filipina, after all Avon is a brand more popular in the Philippines.  Tulad nang nasabi ko nga sa HeBlogs-SheBlogs, Avon is my favorite brand…at bakit hindi? Well, maganda naman siya gamitin at higit sa lahat super affordable. It may not be as glamorous as high-end makeup brands, pero pwedeng-pwede na. Lalo na sa mga not-so-can afford like me.  Although of course, I’d still want to have higher end brands in my kit as long as I get them on sale or for free ;)

For my very first post, I shall define what I mean with "All Things Nice that Beautifies". Just ignore the wrong grammar, I opted for rhyming so I'm using my poetic license;)
